Here are some ways to play Spotify in the car:

List of Apps that work with SYNC 3. There’s a lot of different apps you can use with SYNC 3, but there’s a general list of the best and most popular ones. Most of these apps are available on both iOS and Android, but if you want to see a complete list of apps for iPhone and Android then you can visit the full catalog page on Ford’s website. As of this review, Sync 3 only supports a handful of apps, including iHeartRadio, Spotify, Glympse, Pandora and MLB.com At Bat, but given Ford's previous track record, that number will likely grow.

To listen to music on the go, download Spotify from the Google Play or Apple app store. Spotify on Android with Google Play Spotify on iOS with the AppStore. Car view

Sync 3 Spotify App

When you connect your phone to your car’s Bluetooth, car view automatically turns on.

You see larger, driver-friendly icons in the Now Playing view, and you can quickly change what plays with Choose Music at the bottom of the screen.

To disable Car view:

  1. Tap Home .
  2. Tap Settings .
  3. Under Car, switch Carview off.

You may be able to use an AUX or USB cable to directly connect your mobile or tablet to your car.

Note: Check with your car’s manufacturer to make sure you have the correct cable. Spotify download in background.
