Today we show you how to load a spotify playlist link into the Spotify app (desktop). All it takes is three simple steps.

Someone shares a Spotify playlist link with you – and you don’t know how to play it on the Spotify App (desktop). Unregister spotify app. See the steps below.

Steps

Step 1
i. Launch Spotify on your desktop.

To share a Spotify playlist using the mobile app, first select a playlist — from the Home, Search, or Your Library tabs. The first thing you’ll see is the name and the cover art of the playlist.

  • That setting is on play.spotify.com, but not on the other one. Try copying the Spotify URL, going to the desktop client and pasting it into its search bar. It should take you to the playlist / song / artist. If you're still having trouble, let me know, I'll try to help.

Step 2
i. Copy the playlist link.
ii. Example: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2muUCqDwaX5bYTdvjCC6x2?si=-3QAnsnzT0aEgTg_2s_2_A

Step 3
i. Paste it in the search bar.
ii. Press Enter to search.

Step 4
i. It will load the playlist.
ii. Start playing!
